Das Cover war das Erste, was mich angesprochen hat, denn bereits "Our Summer Holidy" hat durch einen tollen Zeichenstil überzeugt.Auch hier bei Mermaid Prince überzeugt der Zeichenstil durch authentische Charaktere und ein schönes Storyboard.Dieser Manga ist in drei Geschichten unterteilt. Die erste Story "Ametsukigahara" erzählt von einem eigensinnigen Mädchen, die gegen den Strom schwimmt und trotzdem ihren Weg findet, glücklich zu werden.Ich fand die Umsetzung wirklich schön, einerseits zeigen sich dramatische Züge, doch bekommt die Protagonistin immer wieder die Kurve.Die zweite Story "Snowy Day" ist eine kurze und geheimnisvolle Geschichte über eine liebe Bibliothekarin, die die Wunder der Fantasie in der realen Welt sieht und auf ein Happy End hofft.Wirklich süß und leicht zu lesen. Gefällt mir sehr gut.Die letzte Story "Mermaid Prince" ist dann passend zum Titel des Mangas und Covers und handelt von zwei jungen Schülern, die trotzdem schon einiges in ihrem Leben erlebt und dennoch zueinander gefunden haben.Neben einigen niedlichen Momenten, gibt es auch aufregende und dramatische Situationen, die fantastisch umgesetzt sind und ein Fünkchen Übernatürliches beinhalten, was einfach genau richtig ist.Fazit: Eine tolle Mischung mit unterschiedlichen Charakteren und Orten, die nicht nur bildlich perfekt umgesetzt sind. Es hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht, die Geschichten zu lesen und ich hoffe schon jetzt, dass es weitere Sammelbände geben wird.
